Karon, Jamison
(USA), Schriftsteller und Filmemacher aus Los Angeles. Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater an der University of Arizona. Nach seinem Abschluss arbeitete er drei Jahre in New York City an eigenen queeren Stoffen und trieb seine sexpositive Stimme in den amerikanischen Zeitgeist. Jamison ist Autor, Regisseur und Produzent der Web-Serie und des Kurzfilms Sorry You're Sad sowie des Kunstfilms Last Night. 2016 war er Artist-in-Residence bei der Tom of Finland Foundation, wo er ein erotisches Sachbuch, How to Be a Fagot, veröffentlichte. Jamison studiert derzeit Drehbuchschreiben am American Film Institute, wo er 2019 seinen Abschluss machen wird. *** Los Angeles based writer and filmmaker. He received a BFA in Theatre from the University of Arizona in 2012. For three years following graduation, Jamison worked on original queer content in New York City, propelling his sex-positive voice into the American zeitgeist. Jamison is the writer, director, and producer of the narrative web-series and short film Sorry You’re Sad, as well as the art film Last Night. In 2016, Jamison was inducted as the artist-in-residence at Tom of Finland Foundation in Los Angeles, where he published a book of erotic non-fiction, How to Be a Faggot. Poole, Ralph J. ­

Redlin, Rolf
*1958 (Deutschland/Germany); als Sohn eines Hafenarbeiters in Hamburg geboren. Nach einem naturwissenschaftlichen Studium veröffentlichte er mehrere Sachbücher, darunter fünf Motorradbücher. Redlin lebt in Hamburg und Nordwestmecklenburg. Zuvor hatte er verschiedene akademische Positionen inne, als Max Kade Problem fossorial an der University of Illinois in Chicago (2018) Affiliated Fellow am ICI Berlin - Institute for Cultural Inquiry (2016-2018) und als DAAD Associate Professor an der University of Texas at Austin. Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Queer Theory, Medienwissenschaften und Popkultur. Er hat zu den Themen Post Pornography und Eurovision Song Contest veröffentlicht. Sein Buch Hipster Porn über das Fanzine Butt ist gerade erschienen bei bbooks. Reigns, Steven
(USA); Schriftsteller und Pädagoge aus Los Angeles, der zum ersten Poet Laureate von West Hollywood gekürt wurde. Er ist Herausgeber des Bandes My Life is Poetry mit den Arbeiten seiner Schüler aus dem ersten autobiographischen Poesie-Workshop für LGBT-Oberstufenschüler. Er hat Schreibworkshops für LGBT-Jugendliche und Menschen, die mit HIV leben, durchgeführt. Derzeit fördert er den monatlichen Lambda Lit Book Club und arbeitet an einer neuen Gedichtsammlung. Sharp
*1955 (USA); studierte Bildende Kunst, Kunstgeschichte und Design an verschiedenen Schulen des Mittleren Westens und leitete das Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Er arbeitete 30 Jahre als Designer für Film und Fernsehen und verliebte sich vor mehr als zehn Jahren Hals über Kopf in die Tom of Finland Foundation. Herausgeber des Foundation-Newsletters The Dispatch und Chef-Kurator der Dauerausstellung der Foundation. Über die Kunst sagt Sharp: „Mich beeindrucken Anstand, Verrücktheit, strahlende Aufrichtigkeit und all die Dinge, die du wiedersehen willst, wenn du nachts deine Augen schließt, bevor du einschläfst.“ *** Sharp studied Fine Arts, Art History and Design at several Midwest schools and managed the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked in design for film and television for 30 years and fell head-over-heels for Tom of Finland Foundation more than a decade ago. He has acted as the editor of its newsletter, The Dispatch, and is the Head Curator of its Permanent Collection. Says Sharp of art, "I'm impressed by integrity, wackiness, resplendent candor and all those things you want to revisit when you close your eyes at night before you fall asleep."
